About The Artist
Rebecca is a Wisconsin artist .
Rebecca enjoys bright and bold colors and the beauty she sees everyday. The green of summer, the amber of fall or the gray of winter. (spring isn’t worth mentioning: the mud of spring; the wind, ugh!) Rebecca also enjoys the ridiculous and fun, even cartoonish. She also finds inspiration from stories all around her. Her work doesn’t tend to have a specific theme, but she aims to tell a unique and interesting story with every piece that she creates.
She comes from an interesting small town of Mt Horeb; one word, trolls. That is all she has to say. And trying to explain that to others when living abroad; creates some interesting conversations.
Rebecca lives with her husband and daughter. Her daughter has quite the private collection of works from her mom, all special requests. Rebecca also has a rescue dog that is very neurotic and a black cat that likes to do laundry.
Rebecca volunteers in her community working with the veterans, being an active member of the American legion, the Mt Horeb Memorial Association, and VFW.
Rebecca also enjoys raising chickens, hiking with her dog, gardening, and laying on her couch.
